What are the skills that kids need

I often thought about starting a staff professional learning opportunity with the following three questions. This is a good exercise I think for the parents to do as well. a) IF you were sending your kids to a school, what would you expect them to leave with at the end of their time there? b) IF you were a teacher at a school, what would you like your students to leave with at the end of their time at school? c) If you were a kid, what would be the skills that you think you need to be able to survive when you leave school? I think that there would be a number of answers that would be common. The question then to ask, would be how do we achieve this? ICT is one tool that allows you to do this.
